I have just introduced a pocket money system to encourage posting, and to add a competitive edge to the game. When you spend your Pocket money, it will be taken out of your account. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON POCKET MONEY PURCHASES. Pocket money is only valid for THAT ACCOUNT. Here's how it works:
How Do I Earn Pocket Money?
1. You earn $10 for every post you make.
2. I will give you $100 when you post a character application. $200 if it's a human character.
3. A Random Event can give you varying amounts of money.
4. If you are picked as a Member of the Month, Couple of The Month, Villain of the Month, Professor of the Month, or your pet is the Pet of the Month, you will receive $300.
5. If you recruit a new member, and they complete an accepted application, then you will receive $1000. (NOTE: IF THEY ARE NOT ACTIVE FOR AT LEAST A FULL MONTH AFTER THEIR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE, THESE POINTS WILL BE REVOKED. THIS IS TO PREVENT CREATION OF ACCOUNTS FOR THIS PURPOSE ALONE.)
6. If your Character is MARKED, COMPLETES the Change, or REJECTS it, you will receive $8,000 for your trouble in changing species.
7. If you win a contest (graphics, posting, poetry, ect...), you will receive $2,000.
What Can I Spend Money On?
1. Housing. You get one free house if you make an ADULT HUMAN character. Anyone else; a house will cost you $20,000. (A LOT CHEAPER THAN IN REAL LIFE)
2. Graphics. (Avatars and Signatures) If you want a new Signature and Avvie because your Character changed their look, then that will cost you $1000. NEW: Having your Character Marked in their Siggy will now cost you as well. Just a measly $300. It is extra work for the designers.
3. Get your name put at the top of the list for a Random Event. Now, I'll warn you. This does not mean that the Event will be good, just that you'll be the next person to be on the receiving end of a RANDOM Event. A spot at the top of the Small Random Event list will cost you 5,000.(Get a cat, random weather change, funny "feeling", ect) A spot on the BIG Random Event list will cost you much more; 25,000.(Be Marked, Reject the Change, Change into a Vampyre, Gain a New Shift, ect.)
4. Get a HOME FREE INACTIVE PASS to use when you have no excuse to be inactive, but were. Valid for use only up to a month's span of unexcused absence. $5,000. YOU MUST PM ME THE PASS CODE I SEND YOU BY PM FOR THIS TO WORK.
5. Get a Pretty Please Pass. These allow you to negate the effects of a Random Event you don't like. Don't want to reject the Change? Don't want an affinity for Air? Too bad! Just kidding. Just buy a Pretty Please Pass for 50,000. Yes they're expensive. They allow you to cheat Nyx's Random Events.
